Lainey Green has got exactly what she wants.  Her dream location for her equine therapy centre is hers; a farm and its land in the small town of Severton.  After a childhood of being brought up between different countries, she finally has a place to settle and call home.

Unfortunately for Jake Maynard, that home is the farm he desperately wanted, and the alpaca owning, farm running, town Romeo isn’t about to be on the welcoming committee for Lainey anytime soon.

Irritation turns into rivalry, which morphs into something else, something Lainey isn’t sure is for the best.  An epic fundraising battle, a summer festival and a steamy shower incident later, and Jake Maynard is well on the way to hanging up his playboy ways for good. He’s determined that Lainey is the only prize he’s interested in winning, but will he be able to persuade her to feel the same about him?
